Snapmaker
2.0 Rotary Module is one device that can
achieve a level of detail and craftsmanship that no other 3D printing
technology can measure. It adds a 4th axis to the Snapmaker, making
it a mighty desktop CNC machining powerhouse.
How does a
Rotary module work? It uses a strain wave gearing and packs a 100:1 speed
reducer that converts the power to a minimal output speed. Therefore, this will
enable the 3-jaw chuck to rotate at a minimum angle of 0.1, allowing you to
make it on irregular and uneven surfaces without missing a single step. Furthermore,
the Rotary module is compatible with all Snapmaker’s add-ons and future
add-ons. For instance, using the Rotary module with an emergency stop button
will ensure a safer working environment and confidence in 3D printing.
For complete
control, Snapmaker designed the Rotary module with an advanced 4-axis linkage
support which enables the X, Y, Z and B axes to move simultaneously hence the
control. Furthermore, you can import STL files and carve hollow models with
amazingly shaped outer shells in our software. Apart from STL files, it also
has an array of supported types of files, such as .bmp, .svg, .dxf, .jpeg, and
.png. On the other hand, the Rotary module supports various software, these
software includes;
ü Snapmaker Luban
ü Autodesk Fusion 360
ü And Vectric Aspire
